4. Budget Envelopes for Cash

When I was first getting my finances in order, the envelope system worked so well for me! These envelopes allow you create an envelope for expenses, such as gas, utilities, rent, vacations, etc. Each budget envelope has a ledger on one side to track the flow of savings and purchases and includes enough writing space to fill in the spending category, date, where a transaction occurred, payment amounts, deposits, and balances. By stuffing the envelopes with cash, you won't accidentally overspend by "tapping" your debit card too many times...we've all done that!

5. Bill Payment Tracker

If you have ever forgotten to pay a bill, this one may be for you. This personal expense bill tracker notebook will help you stay organized and up-to-date with all of your expenses. It includes sections for bills paid, bills to be paid, dates due, dates paid, and more.

6. Printing Calculator

When I was first looking for help with budgeting, a friend of mine recommended that I buy a good printing calculator, and wow was she right! Fiddling with small buttons on cheap, small calculator was leading to errors and frustration so I invested in a Sharp printing calculator. That was years ago and I am still using it today! It his helpful to see a printout to double check calculations and to easily identify potential errors and typos.

7. 100 Envelopes Challenge

This is a fun way to meet your savings goal! This challenge includes 100 envelopes pre-printed with 1-100 along with a binder, and a savings tracker. The simple concept is this, every day you save anywhere from $1 to $100 and put the corresponding amount of cash in the envelope. When all envelopes are full, you'll have $5050 saved! The savings can be adjusted based on your personal situation-put half the amount, or twice the amount, whatever works for you!

This bestselling book will help with budgeting as well as provide you with guidance on how to pay down your debts and break bad financial habits. With over 29,000 reviews on Amazon, this is a classic book that has stood the test of time and still remains a must have book for help with budgeting.

9. Weekly Meal Planner

One of the most important things that I did when getting my spending under control was to stop overspending on food. To fix this, I started planning and preparing meals at home, and it has saved me thousands of dollars every year! This simple booklet of meal planner sheets can help you get your food spending on track! It will help you not only plan meals but also budget your food spending!

10. Dry Erase Bill Tracker

This is a great product for those who prefer to now have a bulky planner. This dry erase board measures 11" x 14", perfect for any wall or to stick on your fridge. You can use it to keep track of monthly bills as well as bills that may be due weekly, quarterly, or yearly. The dry erase feature lets you use it over and over again, so no need to buy a new planner each year!
